The University's Asset Preservation initiative is a multi-phase effort to preserve existing campus buildings and enabling infrastructure, so they continue to serve their intended functions well into the future. The project is funded by a combination of University bonds and Commonwealth of Kentucky bonds. The University of Kentucky is required to match 30 cents on the dollar to receive funding from the State.
